Andy agreed, but only if he could come up with some acts of his own. The rest is TV history!

This disc contains the full hour-long live TV appearance Andy made on Fridays as host. See him wreak havoc on the set and cause a live fight between himself and the cast, plus a lot more! Amazing stuff to say the least. This video contains original commercials.

You'd think the producers of Fridays would have wanted to keep Andy Kaufman off of the show after the insanity his first appearance created, but in a guaranteed move to help boost the failing shows ratings, they once again asked Kaufman to come back and host. He took them up on their offer, but only if he could write some extensive material for the show. With their hands tied, the producers said yes.

The performance he delivered is what many Kaufmanites consider his finest hour. Andy hosted the entire show as a born again Christian, complete with gospel sing along's, moral posturing and the introduction of his Christian fiancée! In the realm of conceptual comedy, it doesn’t get any better or more original than this.

BAD RONALD-Classic creepy 70's Made For TV movie.  Scott Jacoby plays a nerdy high school youth who accidently kills a neighbor's young daughter.  His mother, played by Kim Hunter, panics and fears the police will not believe that it was an accident. She moves her son into a bathroom that she turned into a secret hiding place. The mother later dies and a new family moves in. In the mean time, Ronald is still living in the secret hiding place and has gotten lost in a fantasy world created in his own head from being hidden away for so long.

DESPERATE LIVES & THE WAVE (MADE FOR TV DOUBLE FEATURE)-blast from the past of 80's made for tv movies.  first up is desperate lives about a high-school counselor recruiting student to help her in the battle against drugs.  features the infamous helen hunt pcp freakout scene which is worth the disc along.  next up is the wave the infamous after school special Based on a real incident where a high school social studies teacher engages in an experiment in mob psychology by slowly turning his students into nazis.

DYING ROOM ONLY (1973)-Made for TV flick that probably inspired the '98 Hollywood Kurt Russell thriller BREAKDOWN.  Cloris Leachman plays a woman whose husband (played by Dabney Coleman) goes missing after a stop at roadside diner.  She suspects foul play, but is menaced by locals Ross Martin and Ned Beatty who try and stop her search at every turn.

BRIMSTONE- complete series.  underrated tv show created by the team who brought you tales from the crypt: demon knight.  peter horton stars as a cop who is sent to hell for murdering the man who raped his wife.  he makes a deal with the devil to return to earth to help capture a bunch of demons who have escaped hell.  fans of tv's millennium would like this show.  4 disc set that contains all 13 episodes.  dvd-r only.  $40  

CAGE WITHOUT A KEY-Made for tv movie that is a scaled down version of linda blair's born innocent.  this time susan dey's is a high school student who accepts a ride from a boy she doesn't know.  next thing you know she's being forced to participate in robbery in which clerk is killed.  they get caught and despite her protestations of innocence she is convicted and sent to prison school for girls.  she finds out the hard way that her troubles are just beginning.  while in the reform school she meets your typical W.I.P. sterotypes.  We've got the militant black chick.  the unwed and uneducated expectant girl.  the leader of the lesbian gang who causes are girl nothing but trouble and of course there is the sympathetic teacher.  look for who's the boss? katherine helmond (horny grandma mona) as a teacher.

CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT (aka: on the air live with captain midnight)-classic made for tv movie about a teenager who has a super powerful cb radio in his van that allows him to take over the radio airwaves and become a renegade dee-jay.

COTTON CANDY:  A SKELETON IN DIRECTOR RON HOWARD'S CLOSET.  THIS MADE FOR TV FLICK FEATURES A GROUP OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FORMING A CHEESY POP BAND.  FEATURING MANY OF RON'S RELATIVES AND OF COURSE THE WONDERFUL CLINT HOWARD.

THE CUBE-The Cube was an hour long teleplay that aired on NBC's weekly anthology television show NBC Experiment in Television February 23, 1969. The production was produced and directed by puppeteer Jim Henson, and was one of several experiments with the live-action film medium which he conducted in the 1960s, before focusing entirely on the Muppets and other puppet works. The screenplay was co-written by long-time Muppet writer Jerry Juhl (who also appears in a cameo). The teleplay starred Richard Schaal as a man trapped in a cubical white room that anyone else could enter and leave but which he himself apparently could not leave. The main character, simply named "The Man", is subjected to an increasingly puzzling and frustrating series of encounters as a variety of people come through various hidden doors. But as many remind him, he can only leave through his own door, so he must find it.  ultra rare and hard to find.

DIARY OF A TEENAGE HITCHHIKER-fantastic made for TV movie from 1979.  this one has lucy ewing (charlene tilton) plays a young woman with big ambitions in life.  unfortunately she doesn't have a car so her and her friends hitch rides to and from the beach.  unfortunately there is a psycho on the loose whose picking up these hitchhikers and killing them.   this was the big made for TV movie to warn parents about their kids hitchhiking because their might be some nut jobs out their preying on their young attractive daughters.  great cast featuring katherine helmond (mona from whose the boss?), dick van patten, craig t. nelson and his future co-star the late dominique dunne and peter brady himself Christopher knight.  highly recommended.

Diff'rent Strokes: Special Child Molestation Episode (The Bicycle Man Pt. 1 and 2)-  This shocking, disturbing, and jaw dropping special episode of Diff'rent Stokes must have warped children everywhere on it's message of pedophiles.  Gordon Jump of WKRP OF CINCINNATI fame plays the child molester out to get Arnold and his good pal Dudley.  What's sickening about the whole thing is the laugh track going off during the whole proceedings.  This one has to be seen to be believed.  A future review of this episode is coming soon to this site by are good friend Willie Talk.

DR. STRANGE:  MADE FOR TV MOVIE BASED ON COMIC BOOK HERO DR. STRANGE.  PRETTY BAD.  LOOK FOR MORGAN LE FEY AND A GODZILLA LIKE CREATURE.

Dr. who pirate tape-in November of 1987 channel 11 (pbs) in Chicago was airing an episode of dr. who (“the horror of fang rock”)  when midway through a pirate tv broadcaster in a max headroom mask over rode their signal for about a minute and a half.  Max headroom did a little skit where he would drink a can of pepsi and throw it away and other stupid antics.  Towards the end of the skit he drops his pants, moons the screen and gets spanked with a fly swatter.  The pirate stopped the broadcast on his own (channel 11 didn’t knock it off the air).  Since channel 11 is public, it didn’t really have the power to knock the broadcast off.  some of his words can be made out, but most of it was distorted.  This is the historic entire broadcast.

ELECTRA WOMAN 2000-Electra Woman 2000 is a kick ass short promo featuring Markie Post, of Nightcourt fame, as the new Eleckra Woman.  Post looks pretty hot in the costume.  Electra Woman is now a drunk and living in a trailer park.  Can the new Dyangirl bring her out of retirement?  Also features cameos from Aquaman and the Flash.

HOWARD STERN'S NEW YEARS ROTTEN EVE PLUS BONUS-Infamous pay-per-view event.  stern pushed the boundaries of ppv with this event.  the premise was a new year's eve pageant, but it was simply an excuse to break every cardinal rule imaginable.  'celebrity' judges like shermen hemsley, mark hamill,  joe frazier, fred the elephant boy, and john wayne bobbitt preside over  some of the worst behavior and bizzare antics imaginable.  let's just say that girls sticking maggots in their crotch pleasuring themselves are some of the tamer things going on!  bonus:  also contains rockbitch and the bitch o' clock news.

LOST IN OZ UNAIRED 2002 TV PILOT-Alex Wilder is a young professional on the verge of marriage. While on a trip through Kansas on morning, she is caught in twister and taken away to the land of Oz, where she meets Caleb, a WWII fighter pilot (call sign "Scarecrow") who somehow ended up there during an aerial fight (and believes it to be 1943). Together they end up in an under-water city where they meet Bellaridere, who gives them the task of rescuing Ozma, who has been kidnapped by the Wicked Witch of the West. Journeying through Oz, they encounter the Wheelers, the remains of the Munchkin village and several other familiar Oz locations. Upon finding Ozma in her labyrinth (where she has been enchanted by the Wicked Witch of the West) they come to realize that should they kill the witch, Alex will become the new Wicked Witch. Using the twister to send the Witch far away, they return the now useless Ozma to Bellaridere and realize they are now stuck in Oz.  starring mia sara as the wicked witch of the west and lynn whitfield as the good witch of the south.

THE PHANTOM OF HOLLYWOOD (1974)-Fun Made for TV movie that is a take off of Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom haunts in Hollywood at MGM Studios. He kills everyone who tries to bring down the old back lots that were made for great masterpieces of the film noir.  Pretty entertaining.

SOLE SURVIVOR-A B-25 bomber is discovered in the middle of the Libian desert and an Air Force investigation team is called in to examine it. The team quickly discovers that it has not been touched since crashing a quarter century earlier. They also discover the plane's navigator survived and is now an Air Force general. The problem? He said the plane went down in the mediterrainian after the captain ordered the crew to bail out. This story has an interesting supernatural twist.  CLASSIC TV MOVIE STARRING WILLIAM SHATNER.
